Wyrd Sisters
In the days leading up to the performance, I worked closely with the director and lead technician to bring the director's vision to life. Together, we carefully planned the lighting design to match the desired look and feel of the production. On the night of the show, I was responsible for operating the lighting board, coordinating with the sound technician to ensure that all lighting cues were timed perfectly with the sound cues. This required clear communication and attention to detail to ensure that the visual and auditory elements of the performance worked seamlessly together.

The Lion, Witch and The Wardrobe
I served as the lighting board operator for The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. In addition to collaborating with other technical teams, I worked closely with the director to resolve any issues that arose during and after performances. I focused on making adjustments that enhanced the flow of the show, creating an immersive experience for the audience and delivering the director’s vision for the desired visual impact.

Ravers - Home Theatre
I operated the lighting and sound boards, collaborating closely with the technical and show directors to refine the lighting and sound cues. Throughout all technical rehearsals and performances, I worked diligently to help achieve the desired aesthetic, ensuring cues were executed on time and the cast was well-prepared for each song or cue. This required strong attention to detail and coordination to maintain the show’s flow and adapt to any last-minute adjustments smoothly.

Ravers - Aberystwyth
I operated the lighting and sound boards at the Aberystwyth Arts Centre during the National Theatre Connections Festival, assisting in-house technicians with adapting and rewriting lighting cues for different performance spaces. I quickly learned and adjusted the setups on-site, organised the get-out of set and props for return to our home theatre, and during one show, improvised by reverting to a previous cue when a saved cue was missing, ensuring the performance ran smoothly.

The Bangers and Chip Explosion
I operated both the sound and lighting control systems for The Bangers and Chips Explosion at the Torch Theatre. Lighting cues were programmed and executed using an ETC Ion lighting desk, while sound playback was managed through QLab. Many cues were triggered manually based on visual cues, requiring precise timing and close attention to on-stage action. I collaborated with the director and technical director to build and refine cue sequences that aligned with the production’s artistic vision. Additionally, I worked with cast members during blocking to ensure accurate positioning within lighting zones, ensuring consistent and effective illumination throughout the performance.
